Kleenex Advert... Brilliant.. almost!

Hi guys, just wanted to share this with people who haven't seen it yet.... the new kleenex ad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3b6hJ5_MLQ
So I saw this for the first time on sunday and loved it! Tom Hardy is an amazing actor, I recently watched him in the TV version of the Take...I'd read the book and really enjoyed it. Felt like Tom really played the character well. Anyway... The music did it for me in this ad and I don't think it would have been half as effective without it, Kleenex have really hit the nail on then head until.... the appearance of baby spice!... I mean what were they thinking?! we have a amazing actor, the one and only Bob Geldof, The most controversial football managers Sven goran Erikson... seen in a brilliant light here!... And then we see Baby Spice... jumping and prancing around like a idiot... and pulling a few tissues out of a box, I think she just wasn't on par with the others and proved shes talentless as we all knew any way! Cut her out the ad... and pure perfection!!

My First Blog!

So finally joined the blogging world and set up a profile! What's going on with me this week then?!... Working on a brief on a rebrand of Leek town in Staffs, my god its hard work!... Re branding a town is harder than I first antispated! Working in teams of 3 we have to come up with a strategy and then pitch to the clients. Its a live brief so its a lot of fun, hoping were going to crack the essence of leek some time soon and get the ball rolling! To help I went to Liverpool (in the pouring rain may I add) to see Michael Wolff's City branding lecture... however there was little about city branding (what there was was extremely useful!), but my days what an interesting man! His philsophy of life and just the way he speaks is so deep and calming I could of sat there all night! Strongly recommend people going to see him if the opportunity arises!
